A Welcome Message from Dr. Harold Brem

Over the past 18 years, I’ve been working in an organized fashion to heal what have traditionally been considered “non-healing” wounds. At Newark Beth Israel Medical Center's Wound Center, we base every clinical decision on the microbiology of wound tissue samples taken from individual patients. Our multidisciplinary team then uses this information to develop a multifaceted treatment plan, employing regenerative medicine haroldbremmdcroppedtherapies to stimulate the growth of new, healthy tissue. We also have a well-developed clinical wound research program, where we continually investigate new approaches to wound healing. I invite you to explore this website and learn how even the most difficult wounds can be healed through our state-of-the-art wound care.
